General Purpose of Position:
Responsible for establishing and maintaining Malnati product quality and service, supervises and is accountable for the operation of a location ensuring maximum sales and profitability through guest service, quality products, inventory, expense control, human resources management and managing operating costs.
The General Manager will provide leadership, set an example for, and monitor Malnati product quality and service and will have a constant awareness of the pulse of what is happening in his/her location on each shift.

Essential Responsibilities of a General Manager:
oShapes the culture of the Carry Out and works towards a high level of employee engagement and guest satisfaction.
oAchieve all budgeted financial goals, including income, sales, costs, P&L management, etc.
oInterview, hire, train, and develop Carry Out team members in all aspects of the business.
Maintain team member performance appraisal, discipline and termination.
oSupervise Carry Out Manager in all areas and have ultimate responsibility in these areas.
oWork with team members in creating a positive guest experience and assist with guest needs as they arise in accordance with the guidelines set by Malnati Organization.
oDevelop plans to continuously improve guest satisfaction score.
oImplement and supervise responsible and ethical cash management for the location including checking out, balancing, and making the daily cash income deposit.
oSchedule Carry Out team members in the most cost-effective manner possible.
oCoordinate special events, drop-off catering and carry out orders.
Implements store promotions.
oMaintain sanitation and cleanliness guidelines for the location per the Malnati Organization.
oResponsible for inventory maintenance, purchasing, and receiving per Malnati Organization.
oMonitor and maintain the high quality of service and food per the Malnati Organization.
oSupervise the repair and maintenance of the store.
Report and address safety concerns.
oProvide timely feedback to supervisor regarding service failures or guest concerns.
oEnsure the location is prepared based on daily businesses needs and set up in all areas daily including but not limited to kitchen, food, prep work, and cleanliness.
oResponsible for leading and attending required weekly, monthly and ad-hoc meetings.
oMay delegate responsibilities with approval from their District Manager.
oAny other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Requirements:
Education and/or Training:
oHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent; bachelor's degree a plus.
oThree to five years of Restaurant experience strongly preferred, but not mandatoryoRequired to read and write English, follow, and assign verbal and written instructions and use math.
oMust have thorough knowledge of Company products, services, policies, and procedures.
oTraining in all aspects of the Carry Out including taking orders, prep work, steam and pizza.
oHave a general knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, safety andAdditional Info:
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
oAbility to freely access all areas of the Carry Out/carry out store including but not limited to kitchen, office, phone area, delivery area and stock area.
oAbility to stand, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, climb and move about the facility; ability to stand approximately 90% of workday; manual dexterity.
oAbility to lift, move or handle goods throughout the location generally weighing 0-80 pounds.
