Benefits Advanced Outdoor Solutions (AOS) is looking for a self-motivated and results-driven General Manager (GM) to direct and manage all business activities of our resort park.
Duties for the GM will include allocating budget resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, engaging with vendors, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities.
Your entrepreneurial spirit and vision in directing business functions will assist our organization in maintaining relationships with visitors, generating new business, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and meeting business objectives.
The successful candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions, exceptional budgeting, strong leadership, and people skills.
The GM will account for all business activities, support staff development, enhance efficiency, drive sales and improve revenue, maintain relationships with visitors, and enhance the organization's image.
Job
Responsibilities:
?Hire and train departmental managers and other resort staff with the assistance of AOS.
?Conduct regular employee performance evaluations and reward, counsel, or discipline as necessary.
?Oversee daily business operations including staff meetings, reservations, upkeep of grounds and amenities, tracking inventory levels, and fostering good guest relations.
?Assist in creation of the Resort Budget and ensure compliance with the budget.
?Analyze accounting and financial data.
?Research, identify, develop, and implement market and growth opportunities.
?Ensure the safety of the park and its visitors.
?Ensure visitors have a positive experience and encourage favorable reviews on social media.
?Generate reports and give presentations.
