The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Key
Responsibilities:
Receive and Inspect Incoming Stock:
Unload and inspect deliveries for discrepancies and damages.
Verify and record incoming merchandise or material.
Stock and Organize:
Organize stock and maintain inventory controls.
Label and stockpile merchandise according to company standards.
Order Picking and Packing:
Read and follow order picking instructions.
Pack and prepare orders for shipment with attention to accuracy and efficiency.
Quality Control:
Conduct quality control checks on all outgoing orders.
Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Clean and Maintain:
Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
Comply with company policies and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a warehouse worker.
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
