Work From Home Supplemental Benefits Competitive Pay Rate Position Summary Scheduler Support Specialists are responsible for assigning caregivers to client shifts and communicating with client, families, and caregivers about any changes.
THIS JOB IS A LOCAL REMOTE JOB IN ARIZONA.
YOU MUST LIVE IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Scottsdale or Phoenix.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Staff caregivers Assign caregivers to new clients Re-staff client schedules as needed Ensure all clients that need coverage are staffed with either a caregiver or office staff Scheduler will be required to cover an urgent caregiver shift if no other alternatives exist Ensure caregivers have all the necessary client information and skill set before working a shift Confirm caregiver schedules with the caregiver Manage caregiver time off requests Receive caregiver overtime and shift rate increase approval from CFO Communicate with clients Call new clients to introduce yourself and confirm desired schedules Re-staff client schedules as needed Confirm client schedules, new and updated, with the client Demonstrate effective communication Communicate with Care Coordinator client satisfaction/issues/concerns Communicate with Caregiver Support/HR caregiver satisfaction/issues/concerns Coordinate and communicate with staff about client and/or caregiver incidents Document in Axiscare all client and caregiver interactions Assist with resolving client and caregiver issues/concerns Take detailed messages and relay them to the appropriate person Ensure accurate shift details Verify correct clock in/clock out Make necessary notes on shift to clarify any changes/issues Make necessary notes on shift to ensure accurate billing and payroll Verify caregivers are on shift If on shift, solve clock in issue If not on shift, verify ETA and communicate with the client If no-call/no-show, communicate with the client and fill the shift Take intake calls and forward to Senior Care Advisors Communicate with weekday staff any potential concerns Ensure outstanding attention to detail Assist with answering phones Work directly with office manager and owners of AMADA Senior Care and assist with any tasks he/she assigns Knowledge, skills & abilities Strong dedication to reliability / dependability in adhering to attendance policies, and able to balance scheduling priorities in ways that do not adversely affect the clients and organization Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently follow oral and written instructions, procedures, and accurately record documentation for clients and caregivers Ability to exercise good judgment and self-control.
Ability to communicate and remain calm under stress Good comprehension and communication skills, with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through verbal communication Ability to operate safely in the workplace and maintain safety standards Good decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze a situation, evaluate risks, and implement the best solution to solve problems or challenges Exceptional interpersonal skills / human relation skills and bed-side manner that positively benefits interaction with internal and external clientele and their families Ability to work autonomously and understand when a supervisor needs to be involved in decision making Self-motivated, with a dedication to keeping up to date technically and procedurally, and applying new knowledge to your job Qualifications High school diploma or GED Passion for working with seniors Prior experience working in the homecare industry Excellent written and verbal communication skills Prior scheduling experience within the home care industry preferred Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities Proven ability to think with clarity under pressure Proven problem-solving skills Initiative to work independently day in and day out Flexible schedule to work evenings/nights/weekends Basic Computer proficiency preferred (Microsoft Office Products, Mac Platform preferred) as well as the ability to learn new applications Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

00 PM Compensation This position includes hours outside of our regularly scheduled office hours.
Should you be scheduled for the following shifts, you will be paid for actual hours worked however, not less than the hours listed below.
At no time will actual hours worked be compensated at less than minimum wage or the applicable overtime rate.
It is important that you track all hours worked at all times.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
