This is a very unique rewarding position that will play a key role in the Milieu Therapy program by helping residents benefit with improved therapuetic outcomes, socialization, peer engagement, self-regluation and experience meaningful progress in the behavioral program.
Job Goals:
Present activity ideas to the BH Director and implement approved activities Lead and coordinate activities with energy and positivity Promote participation in activities with residents and monitor participation Align activities that promote physical exercise, cognitive health, visual and auditory processing and improve self-confidence and awareness Job Requirements:
Positive attitude even when confronted with adversity or challenge Outstanding communication skills Calm demeanor, bright, cheery, and engaging Friendly, inviting and approachable Teachable, engaging, and interested in learning new techniques Interest in creation and development with a passion for new ideas Apply de-escalating techinques when appropriate Other Requirements:
