High energy and fast paced environment make your day fly by! We will assist to get you up to speed in the transportation of sand, gravel and aggregates.
Duties - Coordinate and input orders in computer system for the transportation of materials.
- Assist drivers so that they may arrive to jobs timely and ensure completed delivery.
- Monitor and track deliveries using GPS and transportation management systems - Monitor and communicate with others, to assist team to make informed decisions to optimize routing loads efficiently.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and suppliers to provide status updates.
- Handle any issues or delays that may arise with deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities.
Skills - Strong knowledge of fleet management and logistics operations.
- Experience in using GPS and transportation management systems.
- Experience with data entry and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, customers, and suppliers.
- Ability to learn to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deliveries simultaneously - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
