Medial Claims Analyst

We are currently looking for a Medical Claims and Correspondence Processing Agent to join our team! MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION Required Job Skills:
Identify, research, process, resolve and respond to written or electronically submitted correspondence.
Research and process claims/system editing according to business regulation, internal standards and processing guidelines.
Verify all pertinent information such as coding of procedure and diagnosis codes.
Consult and coordinate with various medical insurance departments, to obtain information and ensure resolution of customer inquiries.
Maintain documentation and stay familiar with current procedural policies for appropriate computer system and coding guidelines.
Provide claims and/or correspondence updates as requested.
Demonstrate and maintain current working knowledge of the required medical insurance systems, procedures, forms and manuals.
Experience with multitasking and prioritizing.
Provide inbound and outbound customer service phone support as requested.
Interpret and translate policies, procedures, programs and guidelines.
Capable of investigative and analytical research Navigate, gather, input and maintain data records in multiple systems applications Follow and accept instruction and direction.
Establish and maintain working relationships in a collaborative team environment.
Additional Requirements:
Must have Intermediate knowledge of CPT, HCPCS and ICD9 claim coding.
Intermediate understanding of dental and medical terminology Intermediate comprehension of anatomy and medical practices Strong oral and written communication skills Proficient spelling, punctuation and grammar skills Experience with multitasking and prioritizing.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
