Maintenance Technician

The ideal candidate will have experience in all trades and be very customer service focused.
Some duties will include cleaning grounds, offices, common areas, completing maintenance service requests, appliance repairs, painting, apartment turnovers, taking emergency calls and more! A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.
The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.
Responsibilities Basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting.
Repairing and maintaining structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
Make ready units for new move-ins.
Responsible for 24 hour emergency maintenance.
Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program.
Complete grounds work such as:
grounds pick up, sweeping, and light landscaping.
Coordinate special projects as directed.
Maintain HVAC systems Pool Maintenance Work with property manager to schedule work orders and unit turns.
Have the tools required to complete all necessary tasks.
Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
Skills Proven experience as maintenance technician Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Follow oral and written instructions High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus Job Type:
