As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and timely handling of materials and supplies within our warehouse.
Work Schedule is Monday - Thursday (7:
00am to 5:
00pm)
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or shipping documents.
Organize and store materials in designated areas within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and efficient use of space.
Prepare materials for production or shipment by pulling, packing, and staging them according to specific instructions.
Utilize inventory management systems to track and update material levels and locations.
Perform regular cycle counts and assist in periodic inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize and fulfill material requests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, organizing shelves, and removing debris.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist in the implementation of process improvements and warehouse optimization initiatives.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Minimum educational requirement includes a high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum experience includes at least 2 years of consecutive work history.
Material Handling experience preferred.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar logistics role is required.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, sometimes up to 50 pounds.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and documentation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Forklift certification is a plus but not required (training can be provided).
