Tech Support I
JOB DESCRIPTION: This temporary role will provide I.T. support to the local area network, wide area network, personal and business computers, servers, systems security, firewalls, video conferencing, all audio/visual technologies, and telephone
Installation and maintenance of all
operating systems, including but not limited to all Microsoft operating systems, Linux and database technologies such as Access, SQL Server and Oracle.
Design, implementation and maintenance of all peripheral hardware.
Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end users satisfaction.
Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software.
Recreates steps taken by users to locate source of problems and ability to correct errors.
Provide software installation and perform necessary program and system tests.
Ability to cable and terminate new workstations if necessary.
Ability to prioritize all queued help requests and respond to them in a timely manner.
Properly dispose of old equipment according to company standards.
Maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
Any degree of higher education is always a plus, especially if related to the functions of this role.
I.T. or Tech Support certifications are helpful.
Minimum of two years experience in Information Systems helpdesk environments.
Proficient in LAN technologies and troubleshooting.
Proficient in MS Windows 7, Operating Systems and Suites.
Valid Drivers License
Ability to pass an ATF and standard criminal history and education background check.

TERM: Contract Assignment up to 8 weeks
HOURS: 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every other Friday
PAY RATE: $11.73 to $17.16/hr. DOE

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
