CNC Programmer / Machinist

CNC Programmer / Machinist position requires CNC programming (using BobCad software), planning, layout, fabrication and assembly of machined components for Custom Automated Machinery as well as Rapid Prototype Fixtures. Machinist will also set up and operate a variety of manual machines utilizing general machining practices. Machinist must have the ability to utilize advanced mathematical and problem solving skills. Machinist will be required to setup and fabricate both basic and complex precision parts as well as assist in Automation System builds as needed.

CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS

years recent experience as CNC Machinist
oWorking knowledge and experience to set up and operate Haas CNC Mills
oWorking knowledge of BobCAD/CAM Programming software
oBe effective under pressure, and able to adjust to changing project schedules.
oAbility to set up and operate conventional machines, i.e., mills, lathes, grinders, etc.
oAdaptable, and able to change techniques when needed.
oAbility to read and machine from blueprints
oHave an extensive knowledge of materials and fabrication processes; including aluminum, steel and plastics.
oStrong analytic and troubleshooting skills (Mechanically Inclined)
oExperience with SolidWorks Software
oWorking knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
oGood communication skills.
oComfortable with customer and vendor interactions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
oHigh School diploma

Pay Range from $20 - $30 / hr based on experience
Must maintain a professional appearance and interact with customers from time to timeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
