The Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet is the cabriolet version of the Volkswagen Golf, introduced in 1979.
The second generation was introduced in 1994, the third in 1998.
The engines for the Cabriolet are almost the same as for the regular Golf.
The Golf Cabriolet was discontinued in 2002 and succeeded by the Volkswagen New Beetle Cabriolet and the Volkswagen Eos.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in white cloth with patterned inserts which are accompanied by matching door panels.
Amenities include front power windows, a locking glove box, and a Blaupunkt stereo.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature.
Additional auxiliary gauges are mounted in the center console.
The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 168k miles (not actual), approximately 2k of which have been added under current ownership.
The exterior is finished in Alpine White (L90E) and features color-matched bumper covers, side skirts, and wheel arch flares.
