For Sale: 2003 Mercury Marauder in Mesa, Arizona for sale in Mesa, AZ

Vehicle Description When you're looking for a great modern classic, it's hard to beat this 2003 Mercury Marauder.
It's a low mileage and loaded sedan that has a terrific shine on the intimidatingly dark paint.
And of course, it has plenty of gallop with a Mustang V8 living under the hood.
Big black sedans are always intimidating.
There has been the right level of care and investment in this black finish so that this one has a dark and sleek finish worthy of the Marauder name.
It's really a terrific total midnight package with the blacked-out grille, blacked-out trim, smoked rear lights, and tinted windows.
Basically, the only thing they didn't blackout were the wheels, and instead, you get the car's largest pieces of brightwork with an awesome set of 18-inch polished alloys.
Plus, the unique front bumper, rear spoiler, and large dual exhaust tips all are part of a unified style that really make this a sporty sedan.
The great thing about the Marauder is that it's a full-size premium machine.
So you get a loaded leather interior, and on an example with such low mileage, this one remains looking quite impressive.
There's adult-sized legroom in the rear and a folding armrest.
Up front there are power-adjusting bucket seats with a center console in-between.
If this sounds like a true long-haul comfort machine, then you'll especially like rare features, like the electronic adjustable pedals.
This has more great amenities like automatic A/C climate control, power windows, power locks, keyless entry/alarm, dual front airbags, side airbags, cruise control, and a premium AM/FM/CD stereo w/cassette.
Besides the luxury, these were also upgraded driver's machines with nice extras, like the fingertip controls on the steering wheel, power steering, crisp white-faced gauges, and factory-installed AutoMeter Pro-Comp auxiliary readouts.
The reason why the Marauder was able be such a powerful force is because it was born in the era of Ford's excellent 4.
6-liter modular V8.
This received the four-valve DOHC version, which basically gave this the same fuel-injected power as the contemporary 300
hp Ford Mustang Mach 1.
The suspension was upgraded utilizing components from Ford's Crown Vic police program, including four-wheel disc brakes w/ABS.
So this one knows how to handle its size.
But for those times when you just want to cruise, features like the four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive makes this a fine road trim machine, too.
There is a distinct rarity with this generation Marauder because they were only offered for two years, and the sales never rose above other classics like the LT1 Impalas.
So these are the kind of cars you collect.
That's why the sale also comes with nice extras like the owner's manual packet and even a Marauder jacket.
It all makes for an impressive package at an impressive price.
